HUGE Elvis fan. Always have been. He died the year I was born.

Kind of funny but sad story about that. My husband, who is much younger, was introduced to Elvis as a child and became his number one fan.

His Paw Paw played Elvis records for him all the time. When my husband was 8 or 9, he asked his Paw Paw a fateful question.

“Paw Paw, can we go to an Elvis concert one day?”

“No son, Elvis is dead.”

My husband was HEARTBROKEN. He had no idea his idol was long gone, long before he was ever born.

Poor baby.
