I had a conversation with someone yesterday about this exact subject. I swear, hive mind strikes again! I was going to post an article today about my conversation, obviously not mentioning the person since it was a private convo.

I may still do so, since there were some other things mentioned that aren’t in your article.

I love how you broke this down. Though I hope people who have been together a long time don’t have to get to the last choice, I understand how it can get to that point. There comes a time when you’ve just tried everything and it isn’t happening.
